The Avenues Bahrain is the largest shopping mall in Bahrain and the first waterfront shopping and entertainment complex of its size. It runs 1.5 kilometers along the water next to King Faisal Highway in central Manama. It has more than 130 stores, nearly half of them restaurants and cafes overlooking Bahrain Bay, plus 10 cinema screens, a supermarket, a kids' play area, an ice rink and a gym.
The building mixes modern design with traditional Bahraini elements and is built around a wide central courtyard with a traditional Bahraini souq. The roof lets daylight in while keeping out the heat, and a Water Taxi brings visitors from several marinas around Bahrain.
Shops include Christian Dior, H&M, Swarovski, Kiehl's, Pottery Barn and West Elm, and restaurants include Shake Shack, Five Guys, CZN Burak and The Cheesecake Factory. The 130+ stores and restaurants fall into 16 shopping categories (clothing, beauty, electronics, jewelry, home furniture, and more) and 5 categories for restaurants and cafes (restaurants, fast food, cafes and desserts, chocolate, and coffee roasters).
A Hilton Garden Inn inside the mall looks over Bahrain Bay. The mall also has an official app for iOS and Android with an interactive map and offers.
